Laziness is the other word for winter for me..I think most of you will agree too :-) But at the same time hot snacks are the most wanted recipes in this part of the season with hot piping tea.And the energitic kids have no laziness and every day starts for them with a new zeal and enthusiasm. And their demands are endless especially with food (likes, dislikes and so on) I actually started off making sukhiyan / modakam; the traditional kerala snack. Then this idea striked me once I made the filling as I had the puff pastry sheets in hand. This is the simple way to sneak out healthy legumes and jaggery to kids and also eases mom's work.Perfect sweet simple snack unlike the regular veg puffs and egg puffs.
