Then,I think its time to just keep those issues out of your life now.You can prepare a delicious low calorie healthy drink by blending all these ingredients listed below.Enjoy the start of the day by a colorful ,yummy drink.I happened to view this in a cookery show 'The Chew' in TV.This is really good to break your everyday monotony of cereals,porridges or idlis/dosas.The smoothie is real thick filling and yummy!!
Ingredients
strawberry 5-6
banana 1
oats 1/4 cup
honey 2tbsp
plain yogurt 2-3 tbsp
Method
-Wash,hull and blend the strawberries until smooth.I usually strain the seeds and get the smooth puree.You can omit straining if you wish.
-Add the bananas,oats,strawberry puree ,yogurt & honey.Blend it until smooth.
-Serve in glasses & enjoy as breakfast !!
Serves ~ 1 glass
NOTES
* You can increase or decrease the yogurt and honey as per your taste buds.
* You can also prepare the same with more filling using milk instead of yogurt.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant recipe. I actually make the same smoothie but with a difference. i sub stitute yogurt with milk, honey with sugar, and i even add some bournvita. I actually drink this smoothie to put on some weight, lolz, but this low calorie one is really good too!
