When Lisha (nandoo) of Nandoo's Kitchen invited me to be her guest,I was happy n thrilled. She is a Keralite residing in Bangalore with her husband and two lovely kids. She is a consistent visitor of my space and a dedicated blogger, must say.She had always inspired me with her comments,Thanx Nandoo.A passionate blogger to share healthy foods that she started cooking after her baby was born. And as with every mom,she has found blogging a simple way to try out newer dishes and feed her kids yummy foods. She has a wide collection of traditional recipes from her mother,MIL and grand mother in her space. She has also tried many recipes from magazines, food bloggers and cook books.I have bookmarked a few recipes that were unique and interesting- banana carrot puttu, muthira(horsegram) idly podi , ragi ribbon pakoda .Some of the drool worthy and nostalgic recipes from her space were chakka pradhaman, arrowroot halwa, mutton keema biriyani, chettinadu egg roast and many more.Do drop by her space,if you haven't and am sure you will enjoy the tour.
Coming back to today's guest post -Marbled banana bread.Though I share mostly sweet recipes for my guest posts as happy moments are to be treasured forever but this time am sharing marbled banana bread as this was also equally liked by my family.I love the marble cake that we find in bakeries in India and I had posted an eggless marble cake sometime back which was liked by all.But this is a denser cake yet moist and soft. And the best part of this recipe is that you can get rid of your weird looking black spotty over ripe bananas hanging.Though I searched many recipes of the same but ended up creating my own recipe.Am happy that it was a super hit and kids loved this cake a lot.I have shared the detailed post with step by step pics which can be easy to try n enjoy.Do visit nandoo's kitchen for recipe details and more pics, cya all there :)
